Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 is expected to continue the intense battle between Senua and her inner demons, with Norse mythology playing a key part in the game's setting. The first game in the Hellblade series saw Senua coming to terms with her demons and accepting her loss. Set in the 9th century, players followed Senua as she journeyed through several recreated Icelandic locations.

In Hellblade 2, Senua returns to embark on a perilous journey across Iceland's unforgiving terrain, which was mentioned in a developer's diary as part of Ninja Theory's Dreadnought Diaries series. Unfortunately, this means bad news for PlayStation users hoping for a PS4 or PS5 release. Unlike its predecessor, Hellblade 2 will be available on fewer platforms.

The game's developer, Ninja Theory, recently released a gameplay reveal that provides more insight into the game than the original cinematic trailer did. There is currently no official release date for Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. With its predecessor, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, being one of the most critically acclaimed releases in gaming history, the excitement surrounding Hellblade 2 is understandable.

After its reveal during the Game Awards in 2019 with a dark and mysterious trailer, there was a significant amount of hype surrounding Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. Will it also be coming to PS4 and PS5? Only time will tell, but fans are eagerly awaiting more information about this highly anticipated game.
